What is manifestation? Manifestation is about co-creating with the universe to create what you want in your life and your reality, whether you are conscious of it or not, through a belief, thought, feeling, or emotion. Once you become aware of how much what you believe, think, and feel matters, it is then about believing that anything is possible; in addition, to trusting, and having faith that what you desire will come into your reality. For example, imagine I said to you: ‘think about a box of chocolates’, an image of a box of your favourite chocolates would probably be formed in your mind – now if you keep thinking about those chocolates and visualise them continuously, your thoughts and images about them will more than likely become a physical reality. Remember, that your thoughts turn into things!
People nowadays are more aware of manifesting; they are curious and have begun to believe that manifesting can work. They have incorporated it into their everyday life through their beliefs that it can be possible. Today I want to share with you how manifestation worked for me and what you need to take into account when manifesting to have the outcome you want.
Here are the steps to develop your manifestation skills:
1. Increasing your vibration!
This is essential because it will help you to be on the same vibrational frequency as what you want and be aligned with your desires, thus helping you to receive your desires. Click here for more details about how to increase your vibration.
2. Work on limiting beliefs
Primarily negative beliefs associated with:
Power and control - for example, you can feel as though you have no power or control over your reality or life.
Your self-worth – for example, not feeling good or worthy enough to receive what you want.
Your value – for example, if you don’t value yourself.
Your desires and wants – for example, if you want to manifest money and you have a belief that money is evil.
Being the creator of your own reality – for example, if you don’t believe you can create your own reality.
How deserving you are - for example, if you do not feel deserving for what you have. When you realize that just having enough and getting by is not good enough for you anymore and that you deserve more, it opens up an infinite amount of possibilities and provides you with more than you could ever imagine. It is also easy to think what you get handed is what you get or deserve and that you can't do anything about it - but that is not true!
Whether you believe something is possible or not - for example, if you don’t believe it is possible to have a million dollars in the next year because of your current circumstances – the resistance in that thought would make it difficult to manifest.
Any limiting beliefs associated with any of these areas can significantly block you from manifesting your desires. When manifestations are blocked or have yet come into reality, another thing you can do is to question them:
- Close your eyes and imagine you have what you want.
- Then ask yourself – ‘What is the worst thing about having it?’
- For example, is fear holding you back? Is it too much out of your comfort zone? Do you feel like you deserve it? Maybe you think you can only get things when you work hard, or that nothing can come to you easily?
- Other questions may include:
Do you think it's possible to receive what you want?
Do you think it's possible to create your own reality?
How is it serving you not to have the things you desire? – Maybe it is serving you because it means that you will stay safe or secure.

3. Decluttering
Declutter your home- when you declutter your home you create more space for things you want to come into your life. Click here for more details about how to declutter.
4. Make a list of what you want.
- When you are writing start each statement like this: I have (name what you want) now - thank you, or I am (name what you feel/are) now - thank you.
Write down what you want right now?
Write at least five things every day – in a notebook/diary.
Try to make them different, as much as possible, each day.
Examples could be, ‘I am healthy now’, or ‘I have a donut now’. It could also be something more significant, for example, ‘I have financial freedom now’, or ‘I know how it feels to feel secure in a relationship now’.
5. Imagine and visualize it - do this for every desire you write down for both lists, even the ones you add daily.
Focus on all five senses: seeing, touching, tasting, smelling and hearing. You do not need to focus on taste unless you are manifesting something, in particular, like food.
Here is an example to help you - if you want a car, close your eyes and imagine how it would look, feel, sound and smell like, visualise looking at the car from the outside and then imagine you are sitting inside it. Imagine how it would feel getting the exact car you want and driving it. What colour would be, do you want it to smell a particular way in the car, do you want to have a specific sound that the engine makes, where would you want to drive to, do you want a fast car, a big or small car, do you want a two-seater or a four-seater.
Imagine every detail of what you want to manifest into your life – there is innate power in this activity as your thoughts and feelings about what you want become a reality.
Imagine it regularly and allow yourself to feel like at that moment you already have it. The more detail you add to your feelings and thoughts about what you desire, the more likely it will materialise. You just have to remember not to resist or think about ‘lack’, as the more you think about what you haven’t got the more likely what you want to manifest won’t happen, as the universe will think you are attracting more lack into your life and will give you that instead of what you really desire. Surrender to the beautiful moment of your own powerful imagination and it will just happen!
6. Embrace your feelings
Once you imagine it all hold on and embrace your feelings and feel how good it feels. Make sure to allow all your feelings to spread throughout your body. Focus on the joy, happiness, and excitement and how having what you want makes you feel. Do this for at least a few minutes for each one, as it will help with your manifestations and will increase your vibration. If any negative feelings come up during the visualization, you may need to do some limiting belief work.
7. Gratitude
I have talked briefly about this topic before, so for more details, click here. Every day, it is essential to say how grateful and thankful you are for what and who you have in your life now. This also helps with manifesting because the more gratitude you express for what you have, the more the Creator and the universe will provide for you. It also helps to increase your vibration. Make sure you to do this every day, even if they are the same things - but try at the end of the day to say at least three things that you are grateful for that happened to you that day.
8. Surrender, trust, and have faith.
Now I know this is easier said than done when it comes to things you cannot wait to have, but it is vital to do your best. Once you have stated what you want, the universe will help you to co-create it, but then you must let it go. Do not continuously ask for the same thing because the universe will think you already have it. Do not doubt it will come because it has not happened yet, all things will come at the perfect time and when you are ready to receive them.
The reasons why you have not yet received what you have asked for could be the result of some of the following: you are not in the right vibration or alignment; you still have limiting beliefs around your desire; you may need to wait because of divine timing; you are not asking for the thing you actually want. For example, most people want more money in their lives for various reasons. However, there may be a lot of resistance surrounding the idea of money and what it means to you. One reason why people don’t receive the money they may ask for is because they are really asking for financial freedom as opposed to a specific amount of money. Therefore, it is important to ask for what you want and need, and essential to have the bigger desires come from your heart.
If you are finding it difficult to manifest what you want, you may have further limiting beliefs about the following: Trust - For example, trusting it will happen may be different if you have difficulty in trusting yourself, others or the universe. Control - It may be that you have control issues and you want to know how and what will happen because you have beliefs about fearing the unknown. Faith – You may believe you are unlucky and you lack faith in yourself, others or the universe, especially when everything seems to be going wrong. Whatever your difficulty may be, work through your specific beliefs as limiting beliefs can create more resistance to the things you want to manifest in your life, thus prolonging their creation into your reality. Once you have worked on these beliefs it will be easier to surrender, trust, and have faith in creating the ideal outcome.
9. Focus and become aware of your thoughts
If you experience any negative feelings or thoughts during the day, you need to accept them for what they are - do not ignore or reject them – instead, ask yourself how you can feel better right now. When you have time, either directly after having that negative feeling or thought, release it by writing it down or talking about it to someone. Then write a list of things you need to work on in order to help increase your vibration.
Any negative thoughts that come up in your mind at a specific moment, try to get into the habit of saying ‘cancel’ or ‘cancel it’. Later on when you have time, you can write them down and see what beliefs are associated with those negative thoughts and work through them.
Any negative situation or vibrational negativity that you may experience around you can affect your own vibration, so you need to be able to use a strategy to not be affected by it. It is very easy to fall into the trap of becoming involved in a negative situation and adding to it, which can result in a lowering of your own positive energy creating a feeling of exhaustion and just feeling down. So what can you do? Well, first you could just get up and leave, or better still, you could navigate the conversation or situation in another direction, or simply change the topic of conversation to something fresh and new. If you decide to leave the situation, take a break for at least five minutes, breathe and adjust your vibration. Talk to yourself and express how you are feeling and question how it is serving you, or what you are learning from it.
Make sure to be around people who lift you up and not drag you down. You will find that the more positive you are, the more positive people and situations will be attracted to you.
Lift yourself up and increase your vibration, any way you can:
o Have a cup of coffee or tea.
o Go outside for some fresh air.
o Check out motivational posts from the Instagram or Facebook link below or someone else's.
o Watch a funny video.
o Have a shower.
o Do the visualization I recommended above.
o Be kind to yourself. We have so many thoughts throughout the day, and it can feel overwhelming to be aware of all of them, but negative thoughts can decrease once you start becoming aware of your feelings and changing your limiting beliefs.
10. Power
Your associations with power and your worth can be very crucial in manifesting, so it is important to work on the beliefs surrounding power that I have mentioned above.
Find ways to increase your self-worth, for example, everyday state what amazing qualities you have and what you have accomplished in your life.

11. Start small
Sometimes we have a lot of resistance when it comes to manifesting something big like receiving a million dollars because we do not yet think it is possible. Therefore, you should start off with something small that you would think it is possible to receive, like 100 dollars. Every time something small manifests itself, it reaffirms your belief about being able to manifest and create your desires. Every time you can increase the amount as you please but make sure you believe it is possible to manifest that amount. You can do this for anything you want to create into your reality if you have a lot of resistance towards it.
12. Get creative, have fun, and make a game out of it.
Every day think about what cool thing you want to manifest today. The more fun you have with it, the less resistance you have to the outcome. For example, what food do you want today? What kind of day do you want to have?
Start manifesting today and see what things you need and want to come into your reality, because once you do, you can finally be living your dreams instead of just wishing for them to happen. It can be a truly magical and miraculous place to be once you do!
